The Yarrawonga and District Garden Club will be holding their annual Spring Flower and Floral Art Show at the Old Convent, Murphy Street Yarrawonga for one day only on Saturday, October 27.
Gates open at 11am and the Garden Club welcomes locals and visitors to view the wonderful display of flowers and produce inside the convent.
A trading table will also be set up outside which will include some flowers at bargain prices.
Competition sections for the show include Open, Intermediate and Children’s Floral Art, roses (open, intermediate and novice), cut flowers, plants and garden produce.
Winners of the Best Rose in the Show take home a rosette and $20 along with the winner’s name engraved on a trophy.
The Garden Club will also be having their annual raffle as well as Devonshire teas available from 11am.
The presentation of prizes will be held at 3pm and all prize money is to be collected before 5pm Saturday with exhibits collected after 5pm.

Stolen number plates are used by criminals in petrol drive-offs, to avoid speeding and parking fines, and in burglaries and drug trafficking.
In some areas vehicles displaying false number plates are involved in over 50% of petrol thefts.
With the summer holidays approaching, Yarrawonga will host thousands of visitors.
