A three hour community fundraiser will take place from Balance Spin Studio, Mulwala on Friday, November 2 from 5:45pm to raise funds to fight against Leukaemia.

With 100% proceeds donated, both spin riders and local runners will complete a three hour non-stop workout in teams to see who can ride or run the furthest.

Riding or running for three hours won’t even compare to some of the treatments those with Leukaemia have to endure, particularly two local young children and their families who are currently battling Leukaemia.

So the Balance team will be pushing the limits and ensuring to raise as much awareness and funds as possible for those in our local community affected by this blood cancer.

Kellie Ramsdale, mum of Leni, who was di- agnosed with Leukaemia in August, thanked everyone for wanting to help her and other families.

“The Brear/Ramsdale families have been so overwhelmed with all of the community support and love during this journey we are on,” Kellie said.

“Leni is doing well with her treatment after a few early setbacks. We all look forward to thanking the community when we get back home to Yarrawonga.”

Spokesperson Megan Wood said Balance Spin Studio is inviting members of the community to join the MOVE for Leukaemia.

“It’s not too late to get your team in! Contact the studio today for more information at livebreathes or simply come down next Friday with some coin to donate and check out the competitors’ efforts.”

Local teams will complete a three hour non-stop workout to help raise funds to fight Leukaemia.
