World record on track

The 22-strong crew named ‘Boat­ing for Brains’ pad­dling from Yar­ra­wonga to Swan Hill is on track to break the world record of 545.56kms.

The crew started pad­dling last Satur­day at 6.00am to cover the 600km jour­ney to Swan Hill and had reached Echuca in good time.

The 22-crew heads off from Yar­ra­wonga, at 6.00am last Satur­day.

Ken and Sus­sanah Bar­ton from Wil­liamstaon with their win­ning art bid for a paint­ing do­nated by Yar­ra­wonga Mul­wala Arts As­so­ci­a­tion. The Bar­tons were pic­tured with lo­cal yacht club com­mit­tee mem­ber Tom Hutchi­son.
