QSeeking Cecil Tournay Winslett, also known as George. My maternal grandfather deserted his wife and children in the earlier 1900s, it is believed for a woman named Mabel (possible Mabel Jessie), after whom he had named his youngest daughter! He worked as a conductor for the LGOC in the Wandsworth area, and later transferred to the Cricklewood garage. We have never been able to find anything about him after the 1901 census. He may have become known by ‘the other woman’s’ name, and registered as that when he died. Grateful for any suggestions – or if someone has an individual who fits that description in their family tree. WENDA MINTRUM, VIA FACEBOOK
