Bar­rel Jazz Nights due in city

En­joy Baku’s one of the big­gest jazz fes­ti­vals as Bar­rel Jazz Nights re­turns to the cap­i­tal city. The four-day event is a 'must' for all jazz lovers, who will be able to wel­come Amer­i­can, Rus­sian, Ge­or­gian, and Azer­bai­jani jazz mu­si­cians on the stage.

The open-air event at Bar­rel Play­ground Club will fea­ture a spe­cial pro­gramme of world class jazz from Septem­ber 7 to 10, Az­er­tac re­ported.

Ge­or­gian jazzmen - Paata An­dri­adze, Le­van Deisadze, Zaza Tsertsvadze will light up the first day of the event.

The con­cert of Rus­sian mu­si­cians, in­clud­ing Yakov Okun, Sergey Golovnya, Vi­tali Salomonov, David Petrov will be or­ga­nized on Septem­ber 8.

Amer­i­can jazzmen Ed­ward Peres, Louis Govin and An­drew Atkin­son will rock the stage on Septem­ber 9.

Hon­ored Artist Sal­man Gam­barov, Emil Hasanov, Vagif Aliyev, Sabina Ha­jiyeva, Jamil Amirov, Tofig Jab­barov and Mir­javad Ba­girov will close Bar­rel Jazz Nights on Septem­ber 10.

Last year, the event brought to­gether such tal­ented Amer­i­can and na­tional mu­si­cians as Rodolfo Perez, Ro­nen Itzik, Rus­lan Aga­bal­aev, Is­mail De La Rosa, Shakhri­yar Imanov, Kam­ran Ka­ri­mov and Elefser Rahi­mov.
