Barrel Jazz Nights due in city
Enjoy Baku’s one of the biggest jazz festivals as Barrel Jazz Nights returns to the capital city. The four-day event is a 'must' for all jazz lovers, who will be able to welcome American, Russian, Georgian, and Azerbaijani jazz musicians on the stage.
The open-air event at Barrel Playground Club will feature a special programme of world class jazz from September 7 to 10, Azertac reported.
Georgian jazzmen - Paata Andriadze, Levan Deisadze, Zaza Tsertsvadze will light up the first day of the event.
The concert of Russian musicians, including Yakov Okun, Sergey Golovnya, Vitali Salomonov, David Petrov will be organized on September 8.
American jazzmen Edward Peres, Louis Govin and Andrew Atkinson will rock the stage on September 9.
Honored Artist Salman Gambarov, Emil Hasanov, Vagif Aliyev, Sabina Hajiyeva, Jamil Amirov, Tofig Jabbarov and Mirjavad Bagirov will close Barrel Jazz Nights on September 10.
Last year, the event brought together such talented American and national musicians as Rodolfo Perez, Ronen Itzik, Ruslan Agabalaev, Ismail De La Rosa, Shakhriyar Imanov, Kamran Karimov and Elefser Rahimov.
