T USIAB con­ducts its ac­tiv­ity within the frames of the laws of the Azer­bai­jan Re­pub­lic, without en­gag­ing in any po­lit­i­cal and ide­o­log­i­cal for­ma­tion. For pro­vi­sion of sup­port and co­op­er­a­tion be­tween our mem­bers, we en­cour­age them to make con­tri­bu­tion in eco­nomic, so­cial and cul­tural re­la­tions among Azer­bai­jan and Turkey and re­spect each in­vestor and the idea which can rep­re­sent our coun­try.

The im­por­tance of as­so­ci­a­tions of busi­ness­men and the con­tri­bu­tion they have made by ac­tiv­i­ties on re­la­tions be­tween coun­tries in this rapidly evolv­ing world econ­omy is in­creas­ing. We would like to in­tro­duce you with TUSIAB – which calls for “a re­li­able ad­dress of Turk­ish busi­ness­men in Azer­bai­jan” op­er­at­ing in Azer­bai­jan.

In­ter­na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Turk­ish In­dus­tri­al­ists and Busi­ness­men of Azer­bai­jan ( TUSIAB) was es­tab­lished in Baku, Novem­ber 16, 1994 with the aim to help the ac­tiv­i­ties of Turk­ish busi­ness­men and pro­vide in­vest­ments in Azer­bai­jan.

TUSIAB be­gan its ac­tiv­i­ties with the aim of con­sol­i­da­tion, sol­i­dar­ity and co­op­er­a­tion among the mem­bers of the as­so­ci­a­tion, mak­ing con­tri­bu­tion to the eco­nomic re­la­tions be­tween Azer­bai­jan and Turkey to im­prove friend­ship and fra­ter­nity based on the unity of lan­guage, re­li­gion and his­tory, and also re­ceived bless­ing prayers of the na­tional leader of Azer­bai­jan Hey­dar Aliyev.

Thus, there was strong em­pha­sis for recog­ni­tion of the Azer­bai­jan mar­ket and made ef­forts to in­crease “Made in Turkey” mar­ket share and quali- ty, and con­tinue to be per­formed.

TUSIAB’s mem­ber com­pa­nies op­er­ate within Azer­bai­jan. Turk­ish and part­ner com­pa­nies es­tab­lished in Baku, Ganja, Sum­gait, Za­gatala, Goy­chay, Ab­sheron, Tovuz, Ga­bala, Sheki, Ha­ji­ga­bul, Shamakhi, Ag­daş, Lankaran and other cities and towns in­creas­ingly con­tinue their ac­tiv­i­ties. Turk­ish in­vest­ments are in the first place among Azer­bai­jan's non-oil for­eign in­vest­ments. In­vest­ment amount of up to 300 Turk­ish com­pa­nies and busi­ness­men op­er­at­ing in in­dus­try and man­u­fac­tur­ing, telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions, con­struc­tion, con­tract­ing, me­dia, food, tex­tile, ed­u­ca­tion, health, bank­ing and in­sur­ance, trans­port, au­to­mo­tive, as well as oil the sphere has reached 7.5 bil­lion U.S. dol­lars. Mak­ing con­tri­bu­tion in the de­vel­op­ment of re­la­tions be­tween Azer­bai­jan and Turkey in eco­nomic, so­cial, cul­tural and other fields, TUSIAB also makes ef­fort in strength­en­ing ties of friend­ship and brother­hood based on the unity of lan­guage, re­li­gion and his­tory.

TUSIAB, con­trib­utes in the plac­ing of Azer­bai­jani and Turk­ish prod­ucts in the in­ter­na­tional com­pet­i­tive en­vi­ron­ment in the best way.

Over­all, we can say that TUSİAB be­came a “re­li­able ad­dress” of Turk­ish busi­ness­men in Azer­bai­jan from 1994 till this day, and that con­fi­dence will con­tinue by its fu­ture ac­tiv­i­ties.
