Om­ni­com Me­dia Group MENA ac­cred­ited by GPI

Om­ni­com Me­dia Group MENA has been ac­cred­ited by the Global Re­port­ing In­dex (GRI), which, ac­cord­ing to the com­pany, makes them the first me­dia agency in the MENA re­gion and the sec­ond glob­ally to have re­ceived such ac­cred­i­ta­tion. The GRI is a non-profit or­gan­i­sa­tion that pro­motes eco­nomic sus­tain­abil­ity. Om­ni­com Me­dia Group MENA has cho­sen to ad­here to their G4 Sus­tain­abil­ity Re­port­ing Guide­lines, as well as take ini­tial steps to­wards join­ing the UN’S Global Com­pact (UNGC) ini­tia­tive, to mea­sure the im­pact and per­for­mance in sus­tain­abil­ity. The agency plans to pro­duce the GRI Sus­tain­abil­ity Re­port on an an­nual ba­sis in or­der to in­te­grate sus­tain­abil­ity more firmly into its busi­ness strat­egy, pos­i­tively en­gage the staff as well as mon­i­tor pro­gres­sion in all the spheres in which it operates. In the first an­nual sus­tain­abil­ity re­port, a mes­sage from Om­ni­com Me­dia Group MENA’S CEO, Elie Khouri, reads: “The peren­ni­al­ity of a com­pany is deeply rooted in its long-term vi­sion and its abil­ity to con­sider all the fac­tors con­tribut­ing to, or im­ped­ing its fu­ture vi­a­bil­ity.”

New Bri­tish Mar­ket­ing Agency Comes to the Mid­dle East

Bri­tish en­trepreneur, John Wil­ford, has launched a new mar­ket­ing agency, JW In­ter­na­tional (JWI) to serve the Mid­dle East re­gion. This new busi­ness will be based on the same ethos as its sis­ter busi­ness in the United King­dom, Rave Communications. Founded 15 years ago, Rave has worked with brands like Cad­bury, Graco, War­wick Busi­ness School and IR­WIN Tools. JWI aims for out­stand­ing cre­ative think­ing, de­liv­ered with pro­fes­sion­al­ism and care. The JWI team has been de­liv­er­ing strate­gic mar­ket­ing projects in the Mid­dle East re­gion since 2014. Th­ese have in­cluded prod­uct launches, re­tailer events and sales pro­mo­tions in both English and Ara­bic. JWI’S of­fice in the Dubai Ma­rina was for­mally opened in April 2015. JWI has al­ready se­cured a num­ber of client wins in the re­gion, in­clud­ing Elec­trolux (do­mes­tic ap­pli­ances) and Ac­cess One (build­ing ac­cess and se­cu­rity). The agency will de­liver an in­te­grated mar­ket­ing so­lu­tion, in tra­di­tional and dig­i­tal me­dia.
