TBWA\RAAD Mid­dle East Ap­points new CCO

Walid Kanaan, Chief Cre­ative Of­fi­cer (CCO) at Im­pact BBDO across the Le­vant and KSA has re­signed from his post, "look­ing for new per­spec­tives and chal­lenges". Af­ter 18 years at the agency, Kanaan, one of the MENA re­gion's most dec­o­ra­tive cre­ative forces joins TBWA\RAAD as its Chief Cre­ative Of­fi­cer. Ef­fec­tive Septem­ber 1, he will be based prin­ci­pally in Beirut, Le­banon, and Dubai, UAE and will pro­vide dy­namic new lead­er­ship to TBWA\RAAD’S ded­i­cated net­work of cre­ative re­sources across its re­gional of­fices in UAE, KSA and Qatar. Reda Raad, CEO of TBWA\RAAD Mid­dle East says this "key ap­point­ment is part of the agency’s larger trans­for­ma­tion and the global re­vi­tal­i­sa­tion of the 'Dis­rup­tion' mis­sion." With more than 22 years of advertising ex­pe­ri­ence in the MENA re­gion, Kanaan has es­tab­lished his cre­ative lead­er­ship cre­den­tials work­ing with blue chip clients in all key mar­kets across the re­gion in ad­di­tion to a tro­phy cab­i­net loaded with pres­ti­gious lo­cal and re­gional awards.
