LIA 2015: WHO’S IN?

Lon­don In­ter­na­tional Awards (LIA) has an­nounced the short­list for this year awards. In the Pack­age De­sign cat­e­gory, Y&R Dubai got short­listed with Amer­i­can Gar­den Ha­banero Sauce “10 Hot La­bels” cam­paign for its use of Illustration.

There were 35 short­listed en­tries in Pack­age De­sign, 13 of which are from Ger­man en­trants.

The De­sign and Pack­age De­sign jury was headed by Brian Collins (Jury Pres­i­dent, CCO and Co­founder of Collins).

In the Mu­sic & Sound cat­e­gory, Leo Bur­nett Dubai got short­listed for du “Two for One Tick­ets’ Too Dis­tress­ing” cam­paign for sound de­sign.

There are 53 short­listed en­tries in the cat­e­gory, with the United States (23), United King­dom (11) and Ger­many (8) lead­ing the way.

In the Non-tra­di­tional cat­e­gory, Leo Bur­nett, Beirut was short­listed with KAFA “Vote for Us, We'll Vote for You” as Non­tra­di­tional, Guer­rilla Mar­ket­ing cam­paign. There are 62 short­listed en­tries in the medium. Pre­sid­ing over this year’s jury was Mark Tutssel (Global Chief Cre­ative Of­fi­cer or Leo Bur­nett World­wide).

Last but not least, in the Print, Poster & Bill­board me­dia, among the recog­nised work,there was IM­PACT BBDO Dubai, which got short­listed for its Mercedesbenz “Rats” print ad in au­to­mo­tive.

Also, Leo Bur­nett Dubai was short­listed for the art di­rec­tion of Mcdon­ald's “Day and Night” cam­paign ti­tled “Al­ley; Square; Street”.

Chair­ing the cat­e­gory was Jury Pres­i­dent Matt East­wood (World­wide CCO of J. Wal­ter Thomp­son).

All win­ners will be an­nounced on Novem­ber 10th.
