LIA 2015: WHO’S IN?
London International Awards (LIA) has announced the shortlist for this year awards. In the Package Design category, Y&R Dubai got shortlisted with American Garden Habanero Sauce “10 Hot Labels” campaign for its use of Illustration.
There were 35 shortlisted entries in Package Design, 13 of which are from German entrants.
The Design and Package Design jury was headed by Brian Collins (Jury President, CCO and Cofounder of Collins).
In the Music & Sound category, Leo Burnett Dubai got shortlisted for du “Two for One Tickets’ Too Distressing” campaign for sound design.
There are 53 shortlisted entries in the category, with the United States (23), United Kingdom (11) and Germany (8) leading the way.
In the Non-traditional category, Leo Burnett, Beirut was shortlisted with KAFA “Vote for Us, We'll Vote for You” as Nontraditional, Guerrilla Marketing campaign. There are 62 shortlisted entries in the medium. Presiding over this year’s jury was Mark Tutssel (Global Chief Creative Officer or Leo Burnett Worldwide).
Last but not least, in the Print, Poster & Billboard media, among the recognised work,there was IMPACT BBDO Dubai, which got shortlisted for its Mercedesbenz “Rats” print ad in automotive.
Also, Leo Burnett Dubai was shortlisted for the art direction of Mcdonald's “Day and Night” campaign titled “Alley; Square; Street”.
Chairing the category was Jury President Matt Eastwood (Worldwide CCO of J. Walter Thompson).
All winners will be announced on November 10th.
