Followers: 516k Launched in 2002 by American author, entrepreneur, public speaker and marketing guru Seth Godin, this personal blog was ranked number 1 marketing blog by Adage’s now-removed Power 150 service in 2009 and remains one of the most popular advertising and marketing blogs in the world. Godin received an MBA in marketing from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and went on to found internet-based direct-marketer Yoyodyne, which was acquired by Yahoo! for $30 million in 1998. In 2007, he launched community website Squidoo, one of the 500 most visited sites worldwide in 2008, which was sold to Hubpages in 2014. Godin published 18 best-selling books that have been translated into more than 35 languages, including “Linchpin: Are You Indispensable?” (2010), “Tribes” (2008), “The Dip” (2007) and “Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable” (2003). He is globally recognised as one of the most influential marketing figures and as recently inducted into the Direct Marketing Hall of Fame.
