The Face of Things to Come

Jeep's makers have proudly retained over the years the historical connection to the visage of their ancestors by using a trademarked grille featuring a standard number of vertical openings also called 'slots'.

The now familiar and distinctive stamped Jeep seven slotted steel grille has become such a strong corporate signature that needless to portrait the car as brand recognition has become powerful enough to do without.

Indeed, the distinctive 7-slot front grille design is a much-loved feature of Jeep vehicles and the company is fiercely protective of its 'badge/trademark', to a point that the concept is being used for over a decade now in many of the brand's communication.

Here are two recent reinterpretations of the grille concept created by Digital Prime, the newly appointed digital agency for Gargour Automotive Company, the only authorised distributor for the Jeep brand in Lebanon.

The creative team succeeded in giving a nod to the Jeep brand heritage, with these fresh and creative executions that aim to remind all enthusiasts who fall into that category of the unique allure the car and its face have.

On another front, yet within the same spirit, and as common sense dictates, when you have such a recognisable and impressive face, you ought to show it to the world!

Basing part of the 2016 strategy on the iconic seven-slot front grille, Lorem Ipsum, the newly appointed communication agency of Jeep's sole distributor in Lebanon, proposed branding Olio outlet in Kfardebian (Igloo restaurant) by setting up a life-size steel structure of the Jeep's front face.

The idea behind this ambient operation springs from emphasising a number of qualities inherent to the brand and the knacks it affords its users. Topping the list is the ability to passionately embark on off-road adventures perfectly suited to the unique lifestyle few dare to embrace by going places no one else can.
