W Doha Ho­tel’s ‘What­ever/ When­ever’ sig­na­ture concierge op­tion, also al­lows guests to in­ter­act with staff through their pre­ferred chat and so­cial me­dia apps, elim­i­nat­ing the has­sle of call­ing em­ploy­ees to or­der room ser­vice, re­quest laun­dry ser­vice or make reser­va­tions.

But be­yond in-house ho­tel re­quests, trav­ellers will have other de­mands.

Last-minute global travel ser­vice, Ho­tel Tonight, which re­cently launched in Dubai, has added an in-app concierge ser­vice, Aces, to its of­fer­ing, con­nect­ing trav­ellers to lo­cal food con­sults and cul­ture ex­perts for ad­vice dur­ing their stay. “Aces is like ac­cess to a cool friend in town who pro­vides in-the-know tips, com­bined with a personal travel as­sis­tant to help ar­range spe­cial re­quests at the ho­tel.” says Dan, a mem­ber of the Spe­cial Projects team be­hind Aces.
