A Titan Remembered
Kamel Mrowa was born on January 19, 1915 during World War I in the town of Zrarieh in south Lebanon. He finished his elementary education in Al-makassed School in Sidon and later joined the American Gerard School founded by Protestant missionaries in 1881 on the Mieh Mieh hill overlooking
June 2016 the city. He was a distinguished student and particularly bright in his use of the Arabic, English and French languages.
