An­other ter­ror­ist at­tack hit the world on June 28, this time inside Istanbul’s Ataturk in­ter­na­tional air­port, leav­ing 43 peo­ple dead and over 240 wounded. The #Istanbul hash­tag flooded twit­ter in the af­ter­math of the at­tack, as users went on to ex­press their in­dig­na­tion at the mas­sacre and their sol­i­dar­ity with the vic­tim’s fam­i­lies. The al­leged mas­ter­mind be­hind the Ataturk air­port’s triple sui­cide bomb­ings was iden­ti­fied by au­thor­i­ties and the me­dia as Cau­ca­sus na­tional Akhmed Chatayev, a well-known ter­ror­ist who had served as a top sol­dier in the ISIS war min­istry ac­cord­ing to CNN.
