Act Re­spon­si­ble Cannes Trib­utes 2016

The ACT Re­spon­si­ble Cannes Trib­ute is a dis­tinc­tion given to out­stand­ing works for good causes. It is the gen­eral pub­lic vote that de­cides which agency should re­ceive a trib­ute. The pub­lic was able to vote through an on­line plat­form (1 vote= 1 point) as well as on site, at the ex­hi­bi­tion in Cannes (1 vote = 3 points). The idea be­hind this trib­ute is to reward all of the agen­cies who have given their talent and cre­ativ­ity to­wards pro­mot­ing a good cause as well as in­creas­ing the vis­i­bil­ity of the favourite cam­paigns as much as pos­si­ble. Vot­ing took place from over a month and was di­vided into four cat­e­gories : Planet, Hu­man Rights, Ed­u­ca­tion, Sol­i­dar­ity. Out of the 1100 cam­paigns iden­ti­fied since June 2015 in the ACT Re­spon­si­ble data­base, 440 were short­listed to be part of the ex­hi­bi­tion and 79 cam­paigns were show­cased in the ex­hi­bi­tion (16 in the Planet sec­tion, 19 in Ed­u­ca­tion, 22 in Sol­i­dar­ity and 22 in Hu­man Rights). The 2016 ex­hi­bi­tion gath­ered 63 agen­cies, 71 ad­ver­tis­ers from more than 30 coun­tries. Over 6500 votes were col­lected this year and 12 Trib­utes (3 in each theme) were dis­trib­uted.
