Two MENA Agen­cies Win Big at Global Awards

Le­banese based Tag­brands, an award­win­ning brand­ing and de­sign agency won the pres­ti­gious global ac­co­lade, the high­est recog­ni­tion for ex­cel­lence in re­brand­ing, which is only awarded to 100 com­pa­nies around the world each year.

The client, Deb­bane Agri, is the agri­cul­ture divi­sion of the Deb­bane Saikali Group, one of the lead­ing agri­cul­tural groups in Lebanon and the Mid­dle East. With more than 150 agron­o­mists across the MENA re­gion, the com­pany brings in­no­va­tion and of­fers world-class prod­ucts from multi­na­tional com­pa­nies help­ing farm­ers max­imise yield and qual­ity of pro­duce while pre­serv­ing scarce re­sources.

The chal­lenge was to re­brand the group while main­tain­ing its recog­ni­tion as an im­por­tant en­tity in both the Le­banese and in­ter­na­tional mar­kets. En­er­gis­ing the brand with­out los­ing its time-hon­oured val­ues was some­thing of a chal­lenge. “We wanted to re­tain the brand’s core val­ues of in­no­va­tion, the preser­va­tion of the en­vi­ron­ment, as well as the com­pany’s ideals of be­ing cus­tomer-cen­tric,” said

Speak­ing about the re­brand, Deb­bane Agri CEO, said, “It was not easy to re­brand as we needed the new brand to carry our his­tory but still bring in a modern and more dy­namic look to it.
