of all, I believe that Dubai is not the creative hub of the Middle East region, but one of the main creative hubs in the region along with Beirut and Cairo. What has made Dubai a main creative hub is the fact that most multinational and regional clients tend to have their regional headquarters in Dubai. This has made Dubai a natural choice for agencies to set up their headquarters there as well. Moreover, given the political and economic stability of the UAE and the attractive standard of living, Dubai has managed to attract some of the best global talents in the communication world. I think it is important for all of us to start pushing for award-winning work to be created in crucial markets like Saudi Arabia and in other important markets like Qatar and Kuwait.
