Elected as Arabad’s Man of the Year is a well-de­served ti­tle for a great ad­man: An­dre Rizk!

When I was a lit­tle boy watch­ing my favourite TV pro­grammes, An­dre Rizk’s ads con­sti­tuted the ad­ver­tis­ing cul­ture of my child­hood!

Af­ter I joined the ad­ver­tis­ing in­dus­try in the late 80s, An­dre was one of the great­est names for cre­ative and ad­ver­tis­ing pro­fes­sion­al­ism. Today, af­ter mak­ing a ca­reer in the com­mu­ni­ca­tions field, An­dre is still one of the ma­jor, if not the best name in our in­dus­try de­spite all the changes ex­pe­ri­enced through­out the last decades!

What can I say about a man who set the base of modern ad­ver­tis­ing in Le­banon, who de­fied age and gen­er­a­tions, who has the abil­ity, the en­ergy, the per­se­ver­ance, the know-how, and the ded­i­ca­tion to fo­cus on ad­ver­tis­ing and noth­ing else but ad­ver­tis­ing! Cha­peau to a great ad­man! A real com­mu­ni­ca­tions man who evolved through the years with­out get­ting old!
