Publicrea tackles a new kind of democracy

Publicrea has invited all creative minds to partake in an advertising contest where they would share the responsibility of giving a last chance of salvation to the Lebanese population by promoting sociopolitical freedom through a new kind of democracy: The Direct Digital Democracy (DDD) for a different Lebanon.

Through the design work, creatives must convince people not to despair of the situation in Lebanon, because the DDD is a realistic solution that allows the practice of direct democracy on communal level for citizens to suggest and discuss projects, find solutions and decide by electronic voting how their lives should be in their cities and municipalities.

They were asked to submit an efficient concept regardless of the media used along with a visual and a body copy for social media, expressing efficiently the concept.

This design contest is the second edition of Publicrea initiated by Antonine university in collaboration with CREAMAC (the Euro-mediterenean Research Center in Arts and Communication), The Syndicate of Advertising Agencies (AAA) and the International Advertising Association (IAA).

Creatives working in various agencies took part in this contest. The jury comprised of ad people awarded the best concept that tackled the idea of Direct Digital Democracy and the imperative of resorting to it.
