By­b­los bank ranked MENA’S third most ef­fec­tive fi­nan­cial ser­vices brand & mar­keter

By­b­los Bank has been named Mid­dle East and Africa’s third most ef­fec­tive fi­nan­cial ser­vices brand and mar­keter in the 2018 Global Effie Ef­fec­tive­ness In­dex.

Iden­ti­fy­ing and rank­ing the mar­ket­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions in­dus­try’s most ef­fec­tive agen­cies, mar­keters and brands by an­a­lyz­ing fi­nal­ist and win­ner data from 40+ world­wide Effie Award com­pe­ti­tions, the Global Effie Ef­fec­tive­ness In­dex is pro­duced an­nu­ally since it was launched in 2011. The 2018 rank­ings re­flect a com­pi­la­tion of over 3,400 world­wide Effie win­ners and fi­nal­ists an­nounced be­tween Jan­uary 1, 2017 and De­cem­ber 31, 2017. Every brand and com­pany ranked in the Effie In­dex has un­der­gone rig­or­ous eval­u­a­tions of their case stud­ies and work by ex­pert in­dus­try judges to prove that their mar­ket­ing achieved com­pelling re­sults.

By rank­ing 3rd, both as a Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices Brand and a Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices Mar­keter of the year, By­b­los Bank has proven the suc­cess of its cre­ative mar­ket­ing strate­gies in the re­gion and in the world on the most re­puted plat­form for ef­fec­tive­ness. It is also the only Le­banese fi­nan­cial ser­vice com­pany to be in­cluded in the In­dex, com­ing ahead of renowned global brands Master­card, Visa and Citibank and be­hind only Emi­rates NBD from the UAE and Eg­bank from Egypt.

Com­ment­ing on the re­sults, Nada Tawil, Head of Group Com­mu­ni­ca­tion De­part­ment at By­b­los Bank, said, “We couldn’t be prouder that By­b­los Bank, through in­no­va­tion, strat­egy and com­mu­ni­ca­tions ex­cel­lence, is reap­ing the third po­si­tion re­gion­ally.
