Nor­we­gian wa­ter seeps into UAE

UAE Eco-friendly prod­ucts firm, Acen­tria Global, has launched what it claims is the ‘world’s health­i­est drink­ing wa­ter brand’ – IS­BRE – in the UAE’s AED1 bil­lion wa­ter sec­tor.

Ac­cord­ing to the com­pany, the in­ter­na­tional launch op­er­a­tions started in early 2013 and the Mid­dle East re­gion has a grow­ing de­mand for high-qual­ity wa­ter. It hopes to achieve three to seven per cent mar­ket share in 12 months.

“Acen­tria Global aims to be the lead­ing provider of glob­ally ac­claimed healthy and eco-friendly prod­ucts for the GCC re­gion and it gives me im­mense plea­sure to bring the Nor­we­gian brand IS­BRE to the UAE mar­ket,” says Jarand Ron­jom, CEO of IS­BRE AG.

It is avail­able in restau­rants and su­per­mar­kets in Dubai, in­clud­ing Al Maya, Union Co-op and Blue Mart.

“We have plans for dif­fer­ent me­dia cam­paigns for the re­gion and to spon­sor sports and health-re­lated events. Me­dia cam­paigns are dis­cussed and tai­lored in Nor­way and the UAE,” he adds.
