Riyadh Travel Fair 2016 ex­pected to be largest ever

Riyadh Travel Fair (RTF) 2016 is ex­pected to be the big­gest ever, with more than 20,000 vis­i­tors, ac­cord­ing to the show or­gan­is­ers.

In its eighth con­sec­u­tive year, lo­cated at the Al Faisaliah Ho­tel, Riyadh from 12 to 15 April, the four-day event will be­come the fo­cus of busi­ness net­work­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties, sem­i­nar ses­sions, min­is­te­rial dis­cus­sions and a recog­ni­tion of KSA’s tourism in­dus­try achieve­ments.

More than 250 ex­hibitors will be rep­re­sent­ing over 55 coun­tries, and 50 na­tional and re­gional pavil­ions will have floor space.

“Last year the Riyadh Travel Fair fea­tured 219 ex­hibitors with vis­i­tor at­ten­dance at 17,573,” said Ban­der' Al Gryni gen­eral man­ager ASAS Ex­hi­bi­tions, the show or­gan­iser.

“That was an in­crease of 15% com­pared to the 2014 edi­tion.

This year will con­tinue our year-on-year growth as ex­hibitors hit over 250 and ex­pected vis­i­tor num­bers over 20,000.”

The Riyadh Travel Fair is open to both travel pro­fes­sion­als and the gen­eral pub­lic look­ing for in-depth desti­na­tion in­for­ma­tion and spe­cial deals.

Vis­i­tors to the 2016 edi­tion will be able to in­ter­act di­rectly with var­i­ous tourism au­thor­i­ties, ho­tels, air­lines and travel agents from around the world.
