Fly­dubai launches third des­ti­na­tion in Bangladesh

Low- cost car­rier fly­dubai has re­vealed plans to add Syl­het to its network, be­com­ing the air­line’s third des­ti­na­tion in Bangladesh af­ter Chit­tagong and Dhaka.

fly­dubai said in a state­ment that it will start di­rect flights be­tween Dubai and Syl­het on March 15, as the air­line in­creases its weekly ser­vice to 27 flights to Bangladesh.

The ser­vice to Syl­het, also known as Jalal­abad, will be­gin with four flights a week and is set to in­crease to six flights a week from May 16, the state­ment said.

It added that the op­er­a­tion to Syl­het Os­mani In­ter­na­tional Air­port is in part­ner­ship with Bangladesh car­rier Re­gent Air­ways.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO at fly­dubai, said: “We are happy to be re­launch­ing flights to Syl­het, an im­por­tant cul­tural and trade cen­tre in Bangladesh.
