Bourne after more success
PATRICK BOURNE, one of the island’s leading 10-K and distance runners, will be seeking to extend his medal haul at next week’s Huntsman World Senior Games in Utah.
Bourne, winner of four golds and a silver last year in the 50-54 age group, will race in the 200, 400, 800, 1 500 and 3 000 metres at this year’s Games which start on Monday.
“I want another big medal haul. I am in good shape and ready to run,” said the 53-yearold Bourne, who leaves this morning for Utah.
