Parents accused of making threats
TWO PARENTS CHARGED with making threats to a member of staff of a school were released on bail when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Daniel Emmanuel Moore, 34, of Princess Royal Avenue, The Pine, and Sheena Ann Janeil Reid, 34, of Sealy Land, Government Hill, both in St Michael, were jointly charged with, and pleaded not guilty to, creating a disturbance on the compound of Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School on October 11.
Moore was solely charged with using the threatening words: “Anytime anybody in here touch my child, I coming and I gine dun ’bout here,” to Olvan Francis on the same date, as well making use of the same threatening words in an educational institution. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Magistrate Graveney Bannister released each accused with a surety of $2 500 and adjourned the matters until today, when the two will reappear in the Bridgetown Traffic Court.
