Ge­orge Lam­ming bring Vibes at choir com­pe­ti­tion

Mem­bers of the Ge­orge Lam­ming Pri­mary School choir sang their hearts out and into the top spot of the Cul­tural Vibes Choir Com­pe­ti­tion on Sun­day.

With di­rec­tor Joy-anne Lynch, they de­liv­ered an en­er­getic per­for­mance of Boat Ride and an in­spir­ing ren­di­tion of I Am Amazed to the as­ton­ish­ment of the au­di­ence at the Der­rick Smith School Au­di­to­rium.

Their only ri­vals were St An­gela’s and Bay Pri­mary, who placed sec­ond and third, re­spec­tively. St An­gela’s sang For Your Glory and Let Me Tell You, while Bay Pri­mary took third place with This Is Me and a Ba­jan folk song med­ley.

This was the first year Ge­orge Lam­ming par­tic­i­pated

Bay Pri­mary School placed third.

The only soloist Janique Wil­liams sang sweetly.
