Savushkin Prod­uct launches a new cheese pro­duc­tion fa­cil­ity.

Savushkin Prod­uct has launched a new cheese mak­ing fa­cil­ity in Stolin. It took than half a year for Savushkin Prod­uct to transform the out­dated pro­duc­tion fa­cil­ity in Stolin into a Euro­pean-class cheese fac­tory. Stolin branch of Savushkin Prod­uct was closed down for full tech­ni­cal ren­o­va­tion in Oc­to­ber 2010.

Nearly Br40 bil­lion was in­vested in the ren­o­va­tion pro­ject. The daily pro­duc­tion ca­pac­ity is 40 tonnes of cheese. To en­sure the safety and qual­ity of prod­ucts the Stolin fac­tory has been equipped with a mod­ern pro­duc­tion lab­o­ra­tory. The ware­houses can store up to 1,000 tonnes of fin­ished cheese.

Cheese is one of the most im­por­tant ex­port items of Savushkin Prod­uct. Three pro­duc­tion branches in Kamenets, Pinsk and Stolin spe­cial­ize in cheese pro­duc­tion. Ca­pac­i­ties al­low pro­duc­ing up to 80 tonnes of cheese per day. More than 60% of the to­tal out­put is ex­ported. In 2010, cheese ac­counted for 45% of the to­tal pro­duc­tion of the com­pany.
