“Working together, we will overcome temporary difficulties and will continue our progressive development,” said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a government session on social and economic development matters. “It will be a proper response to those, who claim the Belarusian model is no longer viable. We will never abandon the policy we have determined and approved at the All-belarus People’s Congress,” stressed the head of state.
“The country needs to: first, remove economy disproportions that evolved during the global crisis and consequent revival, achieve a balanced foreign currency exchange rate; second, secure a high rate of a balanced economic growth; third, form a favorable investment climate and attract substantial international capital;
fourth and foremost, create a modern, completely innovative structure of the production sector”.
