The Belarusian-Chinese joint venture harbin dong Jin Gomel agricultural Mechanical Engineering Enterprise has rolled out the first self-propelled harvesters to collect ear corn.
The first consignment of the machines was shipped to Heilongjiang Province. The joint venture has plans to assemble about 1,000 ear corn harvesters this year. Some 35% of the component parts will be made in China.
The ear corn harvester was designed by Gomselmash. An improved version is being tested in Belarus, after which it will be delivered to China.
The Belarusian-chinese joint venture was founded by Gomselmash and the Chinese Dong Jin Group in 2009. Last year the enterprise assembled forage harvesters KSK-600 Palesse FS60. This year the product choice has been expanded with a corn harvester.
