The Be­laru­sian-Chi­nese joint ven­ture harbin dong Jin Gomel agri­cul­tural Me­chan­i­cal En­gi­neer­ing En­ter­prise has rolled out the first self-pro­pelled har­vesters to col­lect ear corn.


The first con­sign­ment of the ma­chines was shipped to Hei­longjiang Prov­ince. The joint ven­ture has plans to as­sem­ble about 1,000 ear corn har­vesters this year. Some 35% of the com­po­nent parts will be made in China.

The ear corn har­vester was de­signed by Gom­sel­mash. An im­proved ver­sion is be­ing tested in Be­larus, af­ter which it will be de­liv­ered to China.

The Be­laru­sian-chi­nese joint ven­ture was founded by Gom­sel­mash and the Chi­nese Dong Jin Group in 2009. Last year the en­ter­prise as­sem­bled for­age har­vesters KSK-600 Pa­lesse FS60. This year the prod­uct choice has been ex­panded with a corn har­vester.
