In 2011 cap­i­tal in­vest­ments of Belles­bumprom Con­cern went up 70.4% to reach al­most Br2 tril­lion.

The in­vest­ments were fun­neled into the tech­ni­cal up­grade of wood­work­ing and pulp and pa­per com­pa­nies, the con­struc­tion of new plants and re­con­struc­tion of ex­ist­ing fa­cil­i­ties. Par­tic­u­larly, Spar­tak Pa­per Mill re­vamped the pa­per­mak­ing ma­chine to raise its pro­duc­tion ca­pac­ity to 30,000 tonnes of pa­per per year. The com­pany started to pro­duce high qual­ity base pa­per and san­i­tary items.

Mos­tov­drev Com­pany started to man­u­fac­ture large-for­mat ve­neer. The Do­brush pa­per mill Geroi Truda started to pro­duce of­fice pa­per. In 2012 Ivat­se­vichidrev is plan­ning to com­mis­sion a shop to man­u­fac­ture flakeboard and lam­in­board. FANDOK Com­pany will start to pro­duce thin wood chip­board, Kras­naya Zvezda Pa­per Mill will up­grade the pa­per­mak­ing ma­chine and other equip­ment. Other in­vest­ment projects are in the pipe­line.

Belles­bumprom Con­cern unites about 60 or­ga­ni­za­tions which ac­count for nearly 70% of Be­larus’ wood­work­ing in­dus­try, from lum­ber­ing to the man­u­fac­ture of pa­per and fur­ni­ture.
