The Kobrin-based spin­ning and weav­ing mill Ruchaika has signed a € 1 mil­lion con­tract to ship ve­hi­cle cur­tains to Poland.

More­over, in Jan­uary 2012 the com­pany de­liv­ered the first pi­lot batch of prod­ucts to Italy with a view to sign­ing a long-term con­tract.

In 2011 Ruchaika’s ex­port went up 19% to $7.5 mil­lion. Rus­sia is the largest for­eign mar­ket which ac­counted for 78% of ex­port in 2011. Kobrin-made goods are also shipped to Ukraine, Lithua­nia, and Latvia. It is worth say­ing that the ex­port to Baltic coun­tries in­creased nine times.

The Kobrin spin­ning and weav­ing mill Ruchaika is one of CIS largest pro­duc­ers of gray cloth for tech­ni­cal use, in­clud­ing ve­hi­cle cur­tains and ban­ner mesh. The com­pany of­fers more than 600 types of fab­ric and 240 types of yarn. Ruchaika is part of Bel­leg­prom Con­cern.
