FOREIGN CURRENCY SPINDLE
The Kobrin-based spinning and weaving mill Ruchaika has signed a € 1 million contract to ship vehicle curtains to Poland.
Moreover, in January 2012 the company delivered the first pilot batch of products to Italy with a view to signing a long-term contract.
In 2011 Ruchaika’s export went up 19% to $7.5 million. Russia is the largest foreign market which accounted for 78% of export in 2011. Kobrin-made goods are also shipped to Ukraine, Lithuania, and Latvia. It is worth saying that the export to Baltic countries increased nine times.
The Kobrin spinning and weaving mill Ruchaika is one of CIS largest producers of gray cloth for technical use, including vehicle curtains and banner mesh. The company offers more than 600 types of fabric and 240 types of yarn. Ruchaika is part of Bellegprom Concern.
