Syrievye Resursy-bel, a new resident company of the FEZ Vitebsk, is investing about $13 million in the project to develop transportation and forwarding services and sell liquefied hydrocarbon gases.
Most of the funds will be used to purchase special railway vehicles and develop a modern eco-friendly transportation infrastructure. The project is export-oriented as these services will be provided to foreign companies only.
Today there are more than 60 resident companies in the FEZ Vitebsk, some of them are foreign ones. They are Fortex (Belarus-czech Republic), Vitella (Germany), VIC Animal Health (Belarus-russia), and others. The investment projects are being implemented in the following areas: fuel industry, woodworking, veterinary medicine, chemical industry, and machine-engineering.
