Be­larus’ ex­port of ser­vices up by 1.4% in Jan­uary-oc­to­ber 2016

In Jan­uary-oc­to­ber 2016 Be­larus’ ex­port of ser­vices went up by 1.4% from the same pe­riod a year ear­lier to to­tal $5.566 bil­lion. The statis­tics is avail­able on the web­site of the Na­tional Bank of Be­larus.

In Jan­uary-oc­to­ber 2016 the for­eign trade in ser­vices amounted to $9.136 bil­lion (up 0.2% as against the same pe­riod of 2015). Ex­port of ser­vices to­taled $5.566 bil­lion (up 1.4%), im­port – $3.569 bil­lion (98.3%). In Jan­uary-oc­to­ber Be­larus had a sur­plus in trade of ser­vices of $1.996 bil­lion (up by 7.6%).

In Jan­uary-oc­to­ber 2016 for­eign trade in goods and ser­vices hit $48.726 bil­lion, down 10.5% over the same pe­riod of 2015. Ex­port made up $24.482 bil­lion (a de­cline of 11.4%), im­port reached $24.244 bil­lion (a de­crease of 9.5%). Be­larus re­ported a $238.2 mil­lion sur­plus in the for­eign trade in goods and ser­vices.

For­eign mer­chan­dize trade shrank by 12.6% to $39.589 bil­lion. Ex­port of goods de­creased by 14.6% to $18.915 bil­lion, im­port by 10.7% to $20.674 bil­lion. The deficit stood at $1.758 bil­lion.
