ADB rep­re­sen­ta­tive to Bhutan presents his cre­den­tials

The Asian De­vel­op­ment Bank ( ADB) Res­i­dent Rep­re­sen­ta­tive to Bhutan Mr. Tshe­wang Norbu pre­sented his cre­den­tials to the Min­is­ter for For­eign Af­fairs, Ly­onpo Rinzin Dorje, at a cer­e­mony con­ducted at the Gya­ly­ong Tshokhang on 28 Au­gust 2014.

Mr. Norbu holds a bach­e­lor’s de­gree in Com­merce from Sherubtse Col­lege and a master’s de­gree in in­ter­na­tional af­fairs from Columbia Univer­sity, New York, USA. Prior to his ap­point­ment as ADB Res­i­dent Rep­re­sen­ta­tive, he worked for the Depart­ment of Pub­lic Ac­counts, Min­istry of Fi­nance un­der the royal Gov­ern­ment of Bhutan.

Mr. Norbu is a Bhutanese na­tional and is the first ADB Res­i­dent Rep­re­sen­ta­tive in Bhutan. The ADB Res­i­dent Mis­sion Of­fice in Bhutan was in­au­gu­rated in Fe­bru­ary this year.
