For the trainees, an introductory course on gouda cheese production was also conducted at the MPU in Tang geog where participants were involved in the hands on production of gouda cheese. They were also provided with a one day course on the production of yogurt at the Mini Dairy Plant, Wangchutaba along with practical demonstration on the same.
Meanwhile, the training was conducted at the milk processing unit (MPU), Tamshing and RDC-Jakar with resource persons from the National Dairy Development Centre, Yusipang, Haa and Bumthang and the Brown Swiss Farm.
The participants leave the country on last Friday.
