More­over, they were also then taken to the Brown Swiss Farm for a demon­stra­tion on hand milk­ing tech­niques and ma­chine milk­ing prac­tices.

For the trainees, an in­tro­duc­tory course on gouda cheese pro­duc­tion was also con­ducted at the MPU in Tang geog where par­tic­i­pants were in­volved in the hands on pro­duc­tion of gouda cheese. They were also pro­vided with a one day course on the pro­duc­tion of yo­gurt at the Mini Dairy Plant, Wangchutaba along with prac­ti­cal demon­stra­tion on the same.

Mean­while, the train­ing was con­ducted at the milk pro­cess­ing unit (MPU), Tamsh­ing and RDC-Jakar with re­source per­sons from the Na­tional Dairy De­vel­op­ment Cen­tre, Yusi­pang, Haa and Bumthang and the Brown Swiss Farm.

The par­tic­i­pants leave the coun­try on last Fri­day.
