The In­dian Am­bas­sador in­au­gu­rates Pan­tang and Rindey­gang Bridges

The In­dian Am­bas­sador to Bhutan His Ex­cel­lency Gau­tam Bam­bawale in­au­gu­rated the Pan­tang and Rindey­gang bridges which are part of the Gom­phu-Pan­bang High­way on the 30th of De­cem­ber 2014. Dasho ( Dr) Sonam Ten­zin, Sec­re­tary, Min­istry of Works and Hu­man Set­tle­ment, mem­ber of the Par­lia­ment from Pan­bang con­stituency Dorji Wangdi and Karma Galay, Di­rec­tor, Depart­ment of Roads (DoR) was present at the open­ing cer­e­mony. The 128 me­ter long Pan­tang Bridge was con­structed at a cost of Nu. 271.407 mil­lion, while the 75 me­ter long Rindey­gang Bridge was con­structed at a cost of Nu. 77.24 mil­lion with GOI fund­ing. Am­bas­sador also in­spected the Gom­phu-Pan­bang road and the RayfeeKhos­ala road projects also be­ing funded by Gov­ern­ment of In­dia. The to­tal con­struc­tion cost of the 39 km Gom­phu-Pan­bang Road, be­ing funded by the Gov­ern­ment of In­dia, is Nu. 1734.279 mil­lion.
