Am­bas­sador- Des­ig­nate of the So­cial­ist Re­pub­lic of Viet­nam calls on the Chair­per­son

The Am­bas­sador-des­ig­nate of So­cial­ist Re­pub­lic of Viet­nam to In­dia, Nepal & Bhutan, H.E Ton Sing Thanh, called on the Chair­per­son of the Na­tional Coun­cil of Bhutan last Fri­day. The Chair­per­son cor­dially wel­comed the am­bas­sador on be­half of the Na­tional Coun­cil of Bhutan. The chair­per­son said that visit of H.E. Ton Sing Thanh was his­toric since he was vis­it­ing Bhutan in his ca­pac­ity as the first am­bas­sador of Viet­nam. He ex­pressed his hope that the visit will deepen the bonds of friend­ship be­tween the two coun­tries and en­hance in­ter­ac­tion be­tween the two sides at var­i­ous lev­els. His Ex­cel­lency Ton Sing Thanh said that Viet­nam had lots to learn from Bhutan in terms of cul­ture, en­vi­ron­ment, unique na­tional dress and ar­chi­tec­ture and ex­pressed his hope to strengthen co­op­er­a­tion in the ar­eas of tourism, trade and peo­ple to peo­ple ex­changes. He also high­lighted the shared her­itage of history and cul­ture em­a­nat­ing from Bud­dhism. The del­e­ga­tion will be de­part­ing from the coun­try to­mor­row.
