Gov­ern­ment pro­poses changes in the min­is­te­rial port­fo­lio

The gov­ern­ment has pro­posed in the changes in the min­is­te­rial port­fo­lio and has sub­mit­ted the rec­om­men­da­tions to His Majesty the King for ap­proval.

Ac­cord­ing to the press re­lease from the Cab­i­net Sec­re­tar­iat on July 20, 2015 cor­re­spond­ing with the 4th day of the 6th month on Bhutanese cal­en­dar, the Prime Min­is­ter sub­mit­ted the fol­low­ing rec­om­men­da­tions of the Gov­ern­ment to His Majesty the King,

In ac­cor­dance with the Ar­ti­cle 17,Sec­tion 3 of the Con­sti­tu­tion of King­dom of Bhutan, the Home and Cul­tural Af­fairs Min­is­ter Ly­onpo Dam­cho Dorji to be trans­ferred to the Min­istry of For­eign Af­fairs as the For­eign Min­is­ter.

In ac­cor­dance with the Ar­ti­cle 17,Sec­tion 3 of the Con­sti­tu­tion of the King­dom of Bhutan ,the Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment Dawa Gyelt­shen to be ap­pointed as the Min­istry of Home and cul­tural Af­fairs.

Dawa Gyelt­shen is the Mem­ber of Par­lia­ment from Bongo-Chapcha Con­stituency un­der Chukha Dzongnkhag .He has a Bach­e­lors de­gree in Ed­u­ca­tion from Hud­der­s­field Univer­sity in United King­dom. He has been serv­ing as the Chair­per­son of Good Gov­er­nance Com­mit­tee and as mem­ber of House/Par­lia­men­tary Af­fairs and Fi­nance Com­mit­tee of the Na­tional Assem­bly.
