Government proposes changes in the ministerial portfolio
The government has proposed in the changes in the ministerial portfolio and has submitted the recommendations to His Majesty the King for approval.
According to the press release from the Cabinet Secretariat on July 20, 2015 corresponding with the 4th day of the 6th month on Bhutanese calendar, the Prime Minister submitted the following recommendations of the Government to His Majesty the King,
In accordance with the Article 17,Section 3 of the Constitution of Kingdom of Bhutan, the Home and Cultural Affairs Minister Lyonpo Damcho Dorji to be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Foreign Minister.
In accordance with the Article 17,Section 3 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan ,the Member of Parliament Dawa Gyeltshen to be appointed as the Ministry of Home and cultural Affairs.
Dawa Gyeltshen is the Member of Parliament from Bongo-Chapcha Constituency under Chukha Dzongnkhag .He has a Bachelors degree in Education from Huddersfield University in United Kingdom. He has been serving as the Chairperson of Good Governance Committee and as member of House/Parliamentary Affairs and Finance Committee of the National Assembly.
