Ly­onch­hen meets the 16th Batch of DeSu­ung

Ly­onch­hen Tsh­er­ing Tob­gay met with the 16th batch of DeSu­ung Train­ing Pro­gram in Ten­chol­ing in Wang­due Pho­drang last Thurs­day. Ly­onch­hen spoke to the DeSu­ups on the im­por­tance of se­cur­ing and strength­en­ing our na­tion’s sovereignty, to par­tic­i­pate in na­tion build­ing and achiev­ing self-re­liance. “We need to take na­tion build­ing se­ri­ously. We have to en­sure that our in­sti­tu­tions are pro­tected, and that the in­sti­tu­tion of Monar­chy is pro­tected. We have to celebrate from the depths of our hearts, our sovereignty. Our sovereignty is sacro­sanct,” Ly­onch­hen reaf­firmed. Ly­onch­hen em­pha­sised on His Majesty the King’s noble as­pi­ra­tions and told the DeSu­ups that their ul­ti­mate source of in­spi­ra­tion would al­ways be His Majesty and they would al­ways stand for His Majesty’s high ideals. The Bhutan4Nepal Med­i­cal Re­lief team, who con­sisted mostly of DeSu­ups, had done our King, our coun­try and our peo­ple tremen­dously proud, the Prime Min­is­ter spoke to the DeSu­ups.
