TIKA hands over IT equipments to RBE, Dhaka
The Dhaka Program Coordination Office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) handed over computer equipments to the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Dhaka last Tuesday.
The equipments, worth Nu 2 million, were handed over as the part of the project between the two sides for upgrading the IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is being funded by TIKA.
During the handed over ceremony, Bhutan ambassador to Bangladesh Sonam T Rabgye expressed appreciation to the TIKA for the support received in development of the IT infrastructure of the Ministry.
This is the first project being implemented with funding from the Government of Turkey since the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries in September 2012.
