TIKA hands over IT equip­ments to RBE, Dhaka

The Dhaka Pro­gram Co­or­di­na­tion Of­fice of the Turk­ish Co­op­er­a­tion and Co­or­di­na­tion Agency (TIKA) handed over com­puter equip­ments to the Royal Bhutanese Em­bassy, Dhaka last Tues­day.

The equip­ments, worth Nu 2 mil­lion, were handed over as the part of the project be­tween the two sides for up­grad­ing the IT in­fras­truc­ture of the Min­istry of For­eign Af­fairs which is be­ing funded by TIKA.

Dur­ing the handed over cer­e­mony, Bhutan am­bas­sador to Bangladesh Sonam T Rab­gye ex­pressed ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the TIKA for the sup­port re­ceived in devel­op­ment of the IT in­fras­truc­ture of the Min­istry.

This is the first project be­ing im­ple­mented with fund­ing from the Gov­ern­ment of Turkey since the es­tab­lish­ment of for­mal diplo­matic re­la­tions be­tween the two coun­tries in Septem­ber 2012.
