Ly­onch­hen met the 26th batch of Des­sups

Ly­onch­hen (Dasho) Tsh­er­ing Tob­gay met the par­tic­i­pants at the e open­ing of the 26th batch of Des­sups at Wang­due Pho­drang last Mon­day.

“We come to­gether as Bhutan be­cause we have the life force of our sovereignty, His Majesty the King,” said Dasho Tsh­er­ing Tob­gay, Ly­onch­hen was talk­ing to the par­tic­i­pants of the 26th (Ex­ec­u­tive) Batch De­sung.

Ly­onch­hen talked to the par­tic­i­pants of the De­su­ups on sovereignty of Bhutan.

Ly­onch­hen asked the par­tic­i­pants, “What do we as Bhutanese value the most? It is our sovereignty.” Ly­onch­hen then be­gan ex­plain­ing the De­su­ups on Bhutan’s quest for sovereignty and the ef­forts our Mon­archs and fore­fa­thers took. He said that we are sur­rounded by a sea of hu­man­ity and ques­tioned, “So how is it that we are still sov­er­eign?” He said that our strength and sovereignty comes from our unity and the lead­er­ship of His Majesty the King.

Ly­onch­hen ended by wish­ing the par­tic­i­pants suc­cess and re­minded them that they are rep­re­sen­ta­tives of His Majesty the King and their ser­vice is lim­ited not just in times of dis­as­ters but in do­ing every­thing to safe­guard the sovereignty of Bhutan.

One hun­dred and twenty five par­tic­i­pants are un­der­go­ing the 26th (Ex­ec­u­tive) Batch De­sung.
