Lyonchhen Dasho Tshering Tobgay while attending the passing out parade of the 27th batch of the DeSuups yesterday in Tencholing, Wangduephodrang, expressed his delight and congratulated them for successfully completing their training and formal- ly joining in as DeSuups.

Lyonchhen highlighted that is a special day marking the 11th year of successful reign of His Majesty The King. He said that we must thank His Majesty for the numerous achievements we have achieved in a short span of 11 years and for ensuring peace, prosperity, security and wellbeing of our nation. He also explained that it is important for us to pray for wellbeing of His Majesty The King and even more important is to remind ourselves of the commands of His Majesty and work towards fulfilling them. “We should commit to fulfill the noble wishes of His Majesty The King,” he added.

Lyonchhen expressed that the training course definitely is a tough one and the road will be tougher hereon as they now have the greater role to inculcate the values and knowledge from the training into their lives.

“You have acquired so much knowledge and skills; gained so much confidence; and trans- formed your personalities in just three weeks. It is, therefore, important for you to carry these memories to keep yourself reminded of the individual potentials in life. You should also know that there will be endless people thanking you for your contributions as DeSuups,” Lyonchhen added.
