JAPAN TO PROVIDE 353 POWER TILLERS
The government of Japan will provide 250mn yen to Bhutan to purchase 353 power tillers. The Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan, V Namgyel and the Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, Kenji Hiramatsu, signed the exchange notes under the Japanese grant aid project for improvement of farm machinery for hiring services in New Delhi, India on Tuesday. The Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan said that the project will help enhance food security and improve the livelihood of farmers in the country. The project stands as yet another important testimony of the excellent ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries as Bhutan as celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries said the Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan.
