Chaired by the Found­ing Pres­i­dent, Her Majesty The Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, Tarayana Cen­ter held its 28th Board Meet­ing. Her Royal High­ness Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck at­tended the meet­ing along with board and ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tee mem­bers.

The progress up­date on pro­grams and projects of Tarayana Foun­da­tion, Tarayana Ru­ral Crafts and the Folk Her­itage Museum was re­ported and the Pres­i­dent and board mem­bers pro­vided valu­able guid­ance and di­rec­tion on en­hanc­ing ef­fi­ciency and sus­tain­abil­ity.

The Pres­i­dent ex­pressed her ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the devel­op­ment part­ners, donors, well­wish­ers and the board and ex­ec­u­tive com­mit­tee mem­bers whose sup­port and good­will has made it pos­si­ble for the Foun­da­tion to reach out to the most vul­ner­a­ble and re­mote com­mu­ni­ties in the coun­try. The Pres­i­dent also com­mended the staff of the Foun­da­tion for their ded­i­ca­tion and com­mit­ment in serv­ing the un­der­priv­i­leged.
