Indah House Kuching

-

Opened in 2014, Indah House was initially conceived as a café, art platform and homestay, serving mostly cakes and coffee. The current menu has since undergone many changes. With a greater focus on healthy eating and sustainable practices, there is an extensive selection of vegan and vegetarian options, as well as plenty of local fare – which make use of fruits and vegetables grown by Indah’s team of dedicated staff. No trip to Indah is complete without ordering their nasi lemak, made with coconut painstakingly grated and milked by the café owners themselves. The rice also uses a nutritious mix of Sarawak white and red rice. All items on the menu incorporate Sarawakian elements, using locallysourced produce and ingredients such gula apong.
