WORLD FASHION WEEK COMES TO KL
World Fashion Week 2017 is mixing things up this year by highlighting eco-friendly fashion in the Malaysian metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. Southeast Asia will be well represented, with designers such as Romyda Keth from Cambodia, Indonesia’s New York Fashion Week participant Anniesa Hasibuan and many others from Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. The event is expected to draw up to 100,000 visitors. “In a bid to have a greener earth, fashion is one of the important industries to make change as the textile industry is among the largest contributors to global warning,” said Maziah Mohamad, president of the event’s organising committee.
