EDM music festival behemoth Ultra is back in Singapore this month for the third time – exploding from its Miami origins back in 1999, the festival now boasts dates in 25 cities across six continents, making it a household name on the EDM circuit. While this year’s lineup is yet to be announced at the time of writing, the twoday event in Singapore last year saw crowds of 50,000 witness the likes of Rich Brian (formerly Rich Chigga), Nicky Romero and Steve Aoki hit the stage. Big names are expected again this year, alongside up-and-coming Southeast Asian acts. Making its regional debut this year is the Worldwide Stage, a dome-shaped structure that promises to take the audience on an audio-visual electronic voyage.
