The London Symphony Orchestra heads to Thailand for two nights of performances of masterpieces from the likes of Beethoven, Ravel and Shostakovich. The LSO is one of the world’s most prestigious symphonic ensembles, named by classical music magazine Gramophone as one of the top five in the world. It’s also London’s oldest, and has made more recordings than any other orchestra, with its work featured on iconic film scores from the Star Wars, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park franchises. Heading the performances in the Thai capital is renowned Italian conductor Gianandrea Noseda, alongside Israeli piano virtuoso and six-time Grammy nominee Yefim Bronfman.
