Man missing plates, but cops didn’t miss sword
ANOTHER entry in the annals of dubious alibis saw a man arrested in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district for illegal weapons possession after he was stopped for not having a licence plate on Tuesday. The man was driving his moto when police pulled him over to discuss his nonexistent number plate. A search, however, uncovered a more serious infraction: a concealed sword. Asked about the weapon, the man claimed he borrowed the moto from a pal, and had no idea about the sword. Unconvinced, the cops took him down to the station.
