You can pro­gram SelfCon­trol to block th­ese ap­pli­ca­tions for a set time pe­riod so that you can fo­cus all your at­ten­tion on the task at hand, whether that be reading, study­ing, or com­plet­ing an es­say.

This tool can be very use­ful when you’re strug­gling to get into a com­fort­able study ses­sion.
